A stay at Maison Tête de Bois is about more than simply having a comfortable room. We welcome our guests in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, where you can take the time to enjoy the surroundings and discover the beautiful Lot region. Our three rooms are located in a carefully restored old farmhouse in Milhac, combining the charm of the original building with modern comfort.
The location is ideal for exploring both the Lot and the Dordogne. Gourdon, Sarlat and many picturesque villages, markets and historic sites are within easy reach. After a day of walking, cycling or sightseeing, you can return to the calm surroundings of Maison Tête de Bois and enjoy the garden and our small swimming pool, heated with solar panels.

At Maison Tête de Bois, our three guest rooms offer a peaceful and comfortable base for discovering the Lot and the Dordogne. Each room has its own character and reflects the history of our beautifully restored farmhouse in Milhac. The rooms combine original stone walls and wooden features with modern comforts, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Our bed and breakfast in the Lot is located between Gourdon and Sarlat, making it easy to explore the region. You can discover charming villages, local markets, castles, walking routes and the beautiful countryside of the Lot and Dordogne. After a day of sightseeing, cycling or hiking, you can return to the calm surroundings of Maison Tête de Bois.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy our small swimming pool, heated by solar panels, during the longer season. We do not have air conditioning for ecological reasons, but the thick stone walls and traditional Italian shutters help keep the rooms naturally cool during warm summer days.
